The Elevate360 Accelerator is built for Micro Enterprises that have a turnover of less than R10 million per year and employ between zero and ten people. These are businesses that are already active and trading, but they often remain stuck in survival mode because they lack proper systems, financial structure, and visibility. Imbokodo Homecare Manufacturing Programme
The Imbokodo Programme is a specialised initiative that empowers rural women, young people, people with disabilities, and other beneficiaries who are critical to South Africa’s transformation agenda. It is designed for individuals who are unemployed, not currently in training, and eager to create their own income streams through entrepreneurship.
Through this programme, participants are taught how to manufacture detergents and other homecare products from scratch. Beyond the technical training, they are supported to formalise their businesses — registering their enterprises, ensuring compliance, and setting up the structures that will allow them to trade competitively. The programme also provides branding, packaging, and product development guidance so that participants leave with not only the skills to make products but also with businesses that are structured and market-ready.
Imbokodo is not a once-off training workshop. It is a 12-month development journey that provides consistent support, mentorship, and access to networks. By the end of the programme, participants have the confidence, skills, and formalised enterprises that can contribute to household incomes, community development, and supply chain transformation.
